Soheil Najibi, M.D., Ph.D.

Soheil Najibi, M.D., Ph.D. is board certified and fellowship trained in sports medicine, pelvic and acetabular trauma, and anterior total hip reconstruction.   Dr. Najibi earned his medical degree in 1995 from Boston University School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship and orthopedic residency. He completed his sports medicine fellowship training at the University of Iowa and his fellowship training in both pelvic & acetabular trauma and anterior total hip reconstruction at the Hip and Pelvis Institute, under Joel M Matta, M.D., at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.  Dr. Najibi is widely published in physiology, orthopedic trauma and other scientific journals, along with book chapters, abstracts and scientific meetings. His clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedic trauma and joint reconstruction — with special expertise in anterior approach total hip arthroplasty.
