Rheumatology Treatment

Rheumatology is a subspecialty of internal medicine and pediatrics devoted to the care and treatment of rheumatic diseases involving joints and soft tissues and conditions of connective tissues. For many years, this has been one of the most underserved medical subspecialties in Alaska requiring many Alaskans to leave the state to seek services.

OPA is now extremely pleased to offer complete rheumatology services in Anchorage. Rheumatology is the perfect compliment to our group of orthopedic surgical subspecialists and makes OPA the only orthopedic group in Alaska with the ability to consult internally regarding rheumatic conditions and provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care for both quality and patient convenience.Special Rheumatology Treatment related services include:

   On-site bone densitometry
