At OPA we want all patients to have timely access to accurate and complete information about their medical diagnosis, care and treatment and the related costs. Equally important is the ongoing assurance that patient privacy is protected, that all health related information is kept strictly confidential and that all OPA billing practices are in full compliance with the law. To this end we have implemented state-of-the-art medical and financial information systems, established operating policies in compliance with the Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and assembled a team of experienced professional support staff to administer these processes.
